Item #49798 : Original era manufacture. Dark olive green gabardine four pocket jacket with cloth belt. Size marked and dated inside the interior pocket, 36-R 1942. No moth issues to report, very clean looking jacket. Matching material trousers which may not be WWII period. The waistband measures 37 inches, with a 29.5 inch inseam. No stains, holes or tears, however the zipper is frozen in the open position and does not operate.  All of the metal insignia has been added to the uniform in my opinion, although done a good many years back. All of the collar insignia has post war clutch attachments, the pinback Major oakleaves appear to be silver, but do not match one another. The 1st Armored Division and Advance Theater ETO SSI are machine sewn to the jacket. The ETO patch is further enhanced by some nice quality bullion wire decoration. The enlisted pattern, cotton on wool service stripes are handsewn.

Price: $175.00
