Original period manufacture. Straight guard, contoured wood grips with a blue finished blade, and a bird head pommel.Overall a very clean example with most of its finish remaining on the blade, guard, pommel and scabbard. Original finish wood grips, displaying typical marring and denting from service use.Old collector tags on the reverse of the scabbard body, which itself is generally free of denting and presents a mix of steel patina, and blue finish.
