Original era manufacture. US Mexican Border War 1916 watch fob. Matt gray finished alloy fob measuring 40x50 mm.The reverse gives details on various encounters with the Villistas, including the ambushat Carrazil in Mexico June 21st 1916. This encounter was between two troops of the US 10th Cavalry, and Mexican regular army troops instead of Villa's men who were10th Cavalry were chasing. This battle nearly brought about a state of War between the US and Mexico, as Pershing was ready to fight. Wilson negotiated a peace. Purchased as part of a largeold Arizona collection, with 2016 marking the centennial of the Mexican Border Incident.
