Original era manufacture. Large pattern tan canvas haversack with two brass shoulder strap D rings on its reverse. In addition, these have been modified with the installation of a small brass hook on each D ring to allow the haversack to be affixed to a rifle ammunition belt. Original unit stencil on the flap for E Troop, 10th Cavalry. Normal age and wear, no damage.
