Original period manufacture. A very sound example of one of the two classic American bayonets of WWI. Springfield Arsenal manufacture and dated 1918. Original finish to the blade, with no nicks or sharpening, sound original finish grips, of rough-hewn walnut. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel.Very nice canvas covered wooden bodied scabbard, with a leather chape, and a M1910 belt loop suspension.
