Original era manufacture. This nice grouping was purchased from the estate of a local collector, who for years, attended estate sales and markets here in Arizona. The lot concerns the effects of a USAAF NCO, who served with the 94th Bomb Group (B-17's) flying over Europe during WWII. The lot includes his named DFC, a numbered wrap brooch Air Medal, Good Conduct, Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and ETO Medal with three campaign stars. Also included is an assortment of cloth insignia, and a set of sterling marked, pinback, aircrew wings. Lastly, two original bw photos of the Sergeant one with a .50 Cal over his shoulder, and the other shaking hands with another crewman (possibly the Pilot) next to a B-17. Good research potential. The 94th served through the worst of the Air War over Germany, 1943-1945.
