Normal handling and wear. We've offered similar copies of this book before, but none quite as emotive as this one. Named on the cover to Henry J. Nichols, service number O-790027, with his parachute number written on the back cover. On June 21st 1944 during a raid on Berlin, piloting B-17G, 42-97614 (Nick's Place), 94th Bomb Group, 333rd Bomb Squadron. His aircraft was struck by Flak, knocking out two engines, which resulted in the death of the entire crew, including the squadron commander, Lt. Colonel E.J. O'Connor who was onboard.
