British Post Victorian Era, Officers Lambswool Busby
Item #65546 : Original era manufacture. Private purchase quality busby with a lambswool exterior covering. Complete with a silver and red pom decorated with a King's pattern crown, with an intertwined WR, again with a King's crown. Intact velvet backed, silver linked chinstrap with black wool attaching cords. The liner is of white silk with a gilt makers name Hobson & Son London on the sweatband. The lining shows tearing and wear to the silk above the sweatband, with the quilted portion in the crown being intact. Overall the busby is quite sound, there are a few spots of wear to the wool on the reverse and lower left front, but still very presentable.
