Item #64449 : Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the prewar, Imperial Japanese Army officers dress cap in the rank of 1st Lieutenant. All of the bullion trim is securely stitched to the dark blue wool body, no mothing in evidence. Black patent leather, bound edge visor with a bit of a crinkle surface from age. Black leather sweatband with a white silk ribbon and a black silk lining with the makers name printed in gold. A portion of the sweatband is loose on the right rear.
