Item #50123 : Original era manufacture. A nice grouping, purchased from the estate of a longtime local collector several years ago. The grouping includes two particularly nice features, a theater made 3rd Infantry Division patch, and a nice, 5-clasp Victory Medal. In the lot at the time of our purchase was a handwritten note, E.R. Seese Grand Forks. Using these clues I went online and found the published roster of the North Dakota men and women who served during WWI. Edward Rhon Seese, born January 28th 1896 of American parents, was inducted into the service at Grand Forks on September 7th 1917, serving in the 313th Engineers until his discharge. Discharged at Fort Leavenworth Kansas 24 February 1918 to accept a commission. Assigned to 18th Cavalry, then 76th Field Artillery until discharge. Served overseas from April 23rd 1918 to July 24th 1919, and was discharged at Camp Dodge Iowa on July 31st 1919 as a Second Lieutenant.

Price: $295.00
