Item #65311 : Original era manufacture. Based on an 1821 British pattern sword, and used by a soldier of the the Argentine Confederation 1831-1852 . The very clean polished steel blade measures 34 inches in length and is 1.25 inches in width at the base. It runs straight and true with no issues. Etched on the blade is, Viva la Confederation Argentina. Steel basket guard with a patina finish, fishskin wrapped grip which is bound with triple strand wire. Simple steel scabbard with two suspension rings. Solid condition overall, no makers markings on the ricasso.
