Original period manufacture.A well mademachete or short sword with a 15 inch polished steel blade with fullers on each side. Black painted guard and pommel with checkered wooden grips. The leather bodied scabbard has blue steel finished tip and throat and has shrunk a bit from age. Clean, normal age and wear, no markings to be seen.
