US WWII Era Big Bang Cannon, "Mule"
Item #65798 : Original era manufacture. Cast steel cannon which used carbide for it's big bang. Developed in 1907 as an alternative to dangerous handheld fireworks, they are evidently still made today in Allentown Pa. This one measures 8.5 inches in length, retains most of it's original paint finish, with the firing mechanism removed. A previous owner scratched the word or name "MULE" on both sides of the breech.
