Item #62954 : Original Hollywood Costume. We are offering this magnificent coat as a Hollywood movie costume, due to the United Costumers Inc tag machine sewn into the lining. However, the attention to detail, and overall quality of the tunic's manufacture would have passed muster for any aspiring Spahi officer of the era. Madder red wool coat in about a size 38-regular, 9, bullet shaped buttons down the front, three on each cuff with an additional six on the tail. Small decoration loops on the lower left side of the coat body, with an additional three above for a medal bar. In addition, there are securing loops on each shoulder for epaulettes. Three gold brocade rank bars on each duff denoting the rank of Capitaine. Red silk lining with white silk lining to the sleeves. No internal pockets, no moth issues. Really a good looking military coat.
