Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; Laminate wood stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and cupped buttplate. The stock is clean, no repairs or dowel reinforcments. The serial number 7286 may be seen on the barrel bands, stock channel, upper handguard and band spring. Where marked, the waffenamt code of 280 is also visible. On the left face of the butt is a lightly stenciled serial number in white. Beneath that and clearly visible is the letter H for Heer (Army). On the left side of the stock, forward of the sling opening is a small spot of wear to the finish. Light amount of surface corrosion to the cupped plate.
