Original era manufacture. An imposing spearhead used by the Maasai tribes of Kenya to hunt Lion.Measuring 31.5 inches overall, with a 26.5 inch long blade. The handmade blade has a central ridge on each side, which flares at the base. Just below the base of the blade is a five inch long steel socket, which is tapered to hold the shaft of the spear.The steel shows evidence of old cleaned corrosion, but no real pitting issues, with lots of file marks along its edge from period sharpening. Slightly smaller than our previous example.
