Item #67694 : Original period manufacture. German style, quill-back, plated finish blade measuring 31 inches in length. Running fairly straight and true with a slight wiggle near the point. Most of the original plating remains on the blade surface, no corrosion issues. Etched panels on each side, reverse Republica Argentina, obverse Policia de la Capital Federal. Mellow brass patina finish to the stirrup pattern guard, lion head pommel with an elongated langet on each side. Dent free steel scabbard with traces of the original black paint finish remaining, overall surface rust patina finish.
