Original era manufacture. Clean, fighting weight sword which measures 33 inches in length and is 35mm in width at its ricasso. Marked on the ricasso SOLINGER EISENHAUER DAMASTSTAHL, on the blade spine Stanislaus Striberny Waffenfabricant Wien Graben 16. The cutting edge is lightly sharpened for service use, the blade is fairly straight with a slight bend near the tip. Pierced, nickel finished basket hilt, fishskin covered grip with single wire binding. On the top of the pommel are a set of initials deeping set into the surface. Nickle plated scabbard showing wear along its length with a few scattered dents. Combat weight sword.
