Original era manufacture. This is a wonderful little aluminum matchsafe. Place on one side is an Australian Commonwealth Military Forces insignia and incised into the body are serveral Good Luck emblems. Inside the safe is an original Vulcan matchbox which contains a little note which tells of the presentation of this matchbox by an Australian Soldier to a Doughboy of the 33rd Division when that division replaced them in the trenches. Great little thing.
