Original era manufacture. Regulation pattern officers wool overcoat in a pike gray wool twill material and color. Double breasted with all yellow metal color buttons remaining. Dark blue wool piping on the top of the cuffs, pocket edges, rear belt and front edge. The collar is of dark blue-gray velvet, with blue tabs and a single gilded brass button. Wear to the nap of the velvet collar as shown. The interior of the cotton has a full gray cotton lining, with a very large embroidered cypher which is sewn to the outside of the interior pocket, the initials being intertwined RS. The original tailor label is inside, displaying the name of Obrlt. Stolya, whose identity card was found inside at the time of our purchase! The document identifies the man as Oberleutnant Rudolf Stolya, with an issue date of December 1912. No moth issues to report, overall very clean, size a 40 regular.
