Original period manufacture. Issue coat in a coarse blue wool with black wool collar and cuffs. Full coarse linen body lining, black cotton collar lining, with a blue cotton lining to the skirts. Domed brass buttons throughout. The body lining of the coat displays numerous issue stamps, in addition to period costume house stampings. No moth issues to report, very clean condition overall. Size about a 40. A sharp-eyed collector noted that the coat is unit marked to Dragoon Rgt 11, but in that instance the collar/cuffs should be scarlet, rather than black. The costume house did an excellent job in the change, but changed they are. Thank you Michael.
