Original era manufacture. A hardenend, pressed wool felt body with thin black leather edge binding. Around the base of the hat is a well-worn green covered cord displaying considerable age and wear.On the left-front of the hat is a large gilded hunting horn insignia with a silver letter M in the center. This horn insignia is larger than what the regulations call for by about 10 centimeters.Wide brown leather sweatband with a blue silk lining and gilt makers name. The hat body is sound, minor cracking to the edge leather.
