Original era manufacture. Heavy, 33.5 inch straight bladed sword marked KRAFT on the reverse ricasso. The blade is 1.25 inches wide nearly its entire length, tapering to a double edged point. Heavy steel guard which is pierced by 7 holes and two rectangular slots. Steel backstrap and pommel with a leather wrapped grip without wire binding. Heavy dark steel scabbard with two carrying rings, no dents, nice old patina.
