Current manufacture. A well made, and attractive piece of headgear in a large size. I believe this to be representing the Austrian army during the Napoleonic Ears. Impressive stamped brass plate at the front, with an adjustable black leather chinstrap, full liner with drawstring, and a red & white wool decorated top. Near new condition.
