Original era manufacture. Triple etched, polished steel blade measuring 30.5 inches in length. Nice lustre to the blade surface, with etched and frosted panels on each side. Gilded and pierced brass hilt with the double headed eagle. Fishskin wrapped grip with twisted single strand wire binding which is missing in a few spots. Leather covered metal scabbard showing age scuffing along its length but no missing portions. Gilded brass fittings with FJ1 cypher on the upper one. Tip has a large dent in its surface on the reverse side.
