Original era manufacture. Plated steel 33 inch steel blade. Single fuller on each side, no engraving. Maker marked C.E.(carl eickhorn?)Solingen on the ricasso. Very attractive pierced brass hilt with a double headed eagle design. Fishskin wrapped grip bound with twisted brass wire. The blade is fairly straight with some small areas of missing plating. Great looking basket hilt, no scabbard.
