Original period manufacture. A very clean officers sword with a 31 inch chromed steel blade with markings on both sides of it's ricasso. The blade condition is near new, no issues. Pierced Austrian pattern basket guard with a fishskin wrapped grip and triple wire binding. Chrome plated steel scabbard is free of dents with just some scattered staining and minor plating issues to the scabbard surface. Wrapped around the grip is an original Austrian swordknot and purchased with the sword are a set of suspension straps and his polished steel spurs. The spurs are well marked and include their mounting straps which are rock-hard with age. The sword straps are leather backed with a brocade covering. Nice set from the same individual.
