Original era manufacture. German pattern stamped brass buckle with wear to obverse surface, pleasing brass patina overall. Typical age and wear, but showing an interesting soldier repair, in having the broken brass attaching loop replaced with one of iron. An interesting buckle that has certainly seen some history..
