Original era manufacture. 30mm silver medal bearing the profile of Karl on the obverse, the reverse displays the word Fortitudini (bravery). Karl the 1st of Austria came to the throne in late 1916 after the death of Franz-Joseph. He became the last Emperor of the Austo-Hungarian Empire. He died at age 34 from pneumonia.Please note that the medal is reversed on its ribbon in our photo, I have since changed it to it's proper position.
