Original era manufacture. A short Infantry pattern sword with a 29 inch chrome finished blade. The blade shows scattered areas of staining from old corrosion, with scattered nicks and bumps in the cutting edge. Dark steel patina finish guard and pommel, with a fishskin wrapped grip with triple wire binding.Steel scabbard with the same dark steel patina finish, relatively dent-free with some corrosion pitting near the drag.
