Original era manufacture. A beautiful enameled cross suspended from a bow type ribbon, indicating an award to a woman.There is some extremely minor enamel damage, mostly in the tiny acorns on the wreath. The base metal appears to be silver but I could not find any markings.The ribbon shows soiling from being handled over years, but no tears or fraying, simple safety pin type mounting device.Original rec cloth covered issue case with a Vienna and Budapest retailers name on the inside of the cover, again showing soiling from handling and age.One of the tiny hinge pins is missing, needing just a thin metal needle inserted to enable a repair. Normal age and wear overall.
