Original period manufacture. Rubberized fabric, "Gummi", mask with an intact cloth head harness and neck strap. Both lenses are intact, removable filter which is K.u.K. marked for the Imperial Austrian Army. German style canister with extra lenses in the lid, complete with shoulder strap, and the short belt, or button, attaching strap.One of the side strap loops on the canister body has broken away, and the soldier has slipped the strap through the top hinge for carrying.Of interest, is the word "Krankentrager" (stretcher bearer) written on the shoulder strap next to the soldiers name. Rare mask of the era, normal age and wear.
