Original period manufacture. Bright finished blade with the double-headed eagle proof on the reverse ricasso. The blade is clean showing an old service sharpening to its cutting edge. Bright steel finished guard and pommel, lock button works properly. Simple wood grips in good repair, showing typical marring from age and use. Blue finished steel scabbard with scattered denting, sound brown leather frog with riveted and sewn construction.
