Original era manufacture. A very well made badge of multi-piece construction, made in the shape of the German Iron Cross but in the Austrian colors of red and white. Separately applied three dimensional brass acorn and oakleaves, with a laurel leaf wreath attached to the reverse. Small bruise in the enamel of the left arm of the cross. Measures 28 x 28 mm.
