This is a 1/9 plate image housed in a full case which is apart at the seam. One bottom piece is missing.This is an amethyst ambrotype. The baby looks very at ease and sports a necklace and a ring. There is a top notch on top of the head and it is seated on a patterned blanket in a chair.A crystal clear image of an adorable baby.
