Original era manufacture. This large format document deals with a 22 year old man who enlisted in the Royal Bavarian Army in August of 1840. The official seal of Infantry Regiment Wrede appears at the bottom of the document along with the signature of an officer. The document has been folded and shows tape repairs on its reverse. Still quite legible.
