That's the good news, the bad is that it has been cleaned to a fare thee well. They did a nice job, but it's now shiny-new. Clear acceptance markings on the blade spine, the maker you are going to have to take my word on. Repainted steel scabbard, varnished wood grips, buffed steel finish to the blade, flash guard, guard and pommel. Very nice black leather frog with no embellishments.
