Item #69065 : Original period manufacture. Bright blade, hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel, contoured wood grips. The blade is bright with evidence of an old service sharpening on the edge, light staining and toning to the blade surface. The pommel and guard have been cleaned in my opinion, original wood grips, these look to have been sanded in the past. Very clean original finish scabbard, one small nick in the surface, no denting that I can feel. Blue steel finish with scattered remnants of old black paint. The real prize is the rubberized canvas frog. While not a mint example, it is in very, very sound condition with no issues.
