Item #60930 : Original era manufacture. Short model bayonet of a pattern which saw considerable use by the Mexican Army prior to WWI. 8 inch bright steel blade with REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION NY in the reverse fuller, and a 15 mm muzzle ring opening. The blade is clean and shows a mix of polished steel and light staining from age. Steel patina hooked guard and pommel with typical marring and denting to the wood grips. Black leather scabbard body with sound stitching, dark steel patina throat and tip with a well used black leather hanger.
