Item #69830 : Original period manufacture. WWII 1903/42 16 inch blade bayonet produced by American Fork & Hoe in 1943. Mix of cleaned steel and patina to the guard and pommel, lock button works properly. Blade is a mix of original finish blending to steel patina near the point. There are a few small nicks in the cutting edge, but not large by any means. Dark brown plastic grips, no cracks or chips, just minor service abrasions. Tan canvas, wood bodied scabbard, with the stitching on one side and the wide USMC style 1910 belt hook. Leather covered chape with sound stitching. Overall a sound bayonet with a great "been there" look to it.
