Original era manufacture. Dark blue finished, 17.5 inch blade with a raisedcentral panel on each side. Matchingfinish guard and pommel with a 15 mm muzzle opening. Original finish wooden grips showing typical marring from age and use. Dent free blue steel finished scabbard with a brown leather frog which looks to be missing it's horizontal securing strap. There is a serial number on the scabbard stud and guard but they do not match. The blade is clean, the tip is sharp, lightly sharpened on one edge.
