Original era manufacture. Small brass ashtray of the famous little boy peeing on the profile of Kaiser Wilhelm. The slogan states "after the Yser, this is my final greeting". The battle of the Yser marked the defeat of the German attempt to flank the Allies in a corner of Belgium. After a heroic stand by the Belgian Army, the front remained fairly static for the remainder of the war. The Manneken Pis is a famous landmark in Brussels, he is a statue by Jerome Duquesnoy and has been doing his business since 1619, that's one hell of a bladder. Great little guy, likely made from shell brass.
