Original era manufacture. Dark brown paint finish, four piece steel shell with the famous Belgian Lion on the front. The helmet displays an original leather liner and chinstrap, both showing repair and/or missing portions. The liner is missing its two rear-most liner fingers and there is a repair to the chinstrap over the visor. Still a nice example of a fairly scarce WWI Allied helmet.
