Original era manufacture. A nicely balanced 31 inch curved steel blade which has been buffed to within an inch of its life by a previous owner. Traces of the original etched panels can be seen but little more. The blade is straight and shows no evidence of corrosion pitting. The original leather bumper is in place, wonder why they did what they did. Nickel finsihed steel guard and pommel, ebony wood grip with some minor chippingtowards the pommel. Regimental device in the guard. Basically sound black leather scabbard with nickel finish to the metal fittings (including the lower suspension fitting which is not pictured) and a classic electrical tape repair above the drag.
