Original era manufacture. Single edged, 32 inch blade with faint etched panels on each side of the blade, including George III cypher on the reverse side. Osborn marked on the blade spine. The blade is fairly straight with a decent steel patina finish, with evidence of old cleaned corrosion towards the tip. Gilded brass guard, a little loose from age, but decent wire wrapping on the grip. Good old sword that likely saw service during the Napoleonic Wars.
