Original era manufacture. Curved, polished steel blade measuring 32.5 inch in length, with no issues beyond light age and wear. Stamped on the spine just above the guard are the names Wooley & Sargent, a firm engaged in the Cutlery business between the years 1815-1825. Single bow steel guard with a langet on each side, leather wrapped grip. Sheet steel scabbard with a steel patina finish and two carrying rings. Overall the sword is in solid shape, it is not loose, nor does it rattle, the blade has not been sharpened. Pretty clean for being 200 years old.
