Original era manufacture. Steel patina blade which measures 32 inches in length with etched panels on each side. The blade is straight, there are a few shallow nicks in the cutting edge, no corrosion issues to speak of, just dark steel from age. All steel, pierced basket guard with the Rifle Regiment emblem at center. Fishskin wrapped gripped showing some scattered wear, twisted wire binding with some of the strands out of place. Dent free steel scabbard with a dark, cleaned corrosion patina finish.
