Original era photography. A very clear image in its original case, 1/9th plate size, featuring an enlisted soldier who belonged to one of the many volunteer rifle regiments formed in Britain in the 1860's. the image is lightly tinted, and the man is shown seated by a photographers table with his shako next to his right arm. He is wearing a rifle gray tunic, with his shoulder and waist belt visible. Nice crisp image.
