Original era manufacture. Heavy bronze star presented by the Khedive of Egypt to the British Troops who participated in the suppression of the Urabi uprising in July-September 1882.Bombardment of Alexandria, and Tel El-Kebir, were the two clasps awarded for this campaign, but other combat occurred between those two engagements. Every soldier and sailor received this medal in addition to the Queen's medal for Egypt.
