Original era manufacture. I will admit first off that this is my best guess as to what this sword actually is. First of all it is an issue blade made by Wilkinson with a variety of proof marks on both sides of the ricasso. The polished steel blade measures about 32.25 inches and runs straight and true with no issues. Steel basket guard which is pierced with an elaborate design and bearing the cypher of Edward VIII (1901-1910). Black fish skin wrapped grip which is bound with two steel rivets. Bright steel scabbard with two suspension rings, with a few very minor dents in it's surface. A very clean sword in excellent condition.
